Meet Kaycie

As a dietitian and nutrition counselor, I am passionate about helping people overcome obsessive food and body image thoughts so they can cultivate a kinder, more compassionate relationship with themselves. I encourage individuals to dig deep and rediscover what's most important to them, so they can live authentically for themselves without the food “rules” and body discontentment.

I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, and completed my dietetic internship in Pittsburgh with a focus in clinical and community nutrition. While I began my career as a clinical dietitian and worked as both an inpatient and outpatient clinician for several years, I was drawn to entrepreneurship so I can help more people heal their relationship with food and their bodies.

That's why I started Kaycie Rose Nutrition - to empower people to value themselves beyond their appearance so they can break free from diet culture and society's body image ideals. I specialize in Intuitive Eating, body image healing, and eating disorder recovery from a Health At Every Size® (HAES) perspective. You are capable of making choices that is best for you and your body and I'm here to support you along your journey.

The Philosophy

Your body is worthy of respect, no matter what it looks like.
Go beyond your appearance, because you are more than just your body.

Kaycie Rose Nutrition focuses on a weight-inclusive approach that helps individuals create a peaceful, trusting relationship with food and their body. My mission is to help you shift your values away from size and appearance, and start recognizing why your body deserves to be loved and cared for, no matter the size or shape.

We live in a society where we're taught to not trust our bodies when it comes to eating. External plans are sought after, yet they further create a disconnect from our natural instincts.

Don't allow society tell you what should be important to you. You are capable of making the choices that are best for your body - external plans or validation are not necessary. Together, we will work towards quieting the noise of diet culture and society’s unrealistic body ideals, so you will feel empowered to define your own values as you work toward your well-being. That's when you can start living authentically for you.
